Job Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer at Global Furnovate in Bengaluru. The Interior Designer will be responsible for space planning, architecture, construction drawings, interior design, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). The role will involve day-to-day tasks such as creating design concepts, producing detailed drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with clients and contractors.

Qualification & Skills

  • Proficiency in space planning, architecture, and construction drawings
  • Strong knowledge and experience in interior design
  • Familiarity with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
  • Excellent creativity and design skills
  • Understanding of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and contractors
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in 3D visualization and design software is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understanding needs, preferences and budget constraints of clients jointly.
  • Creating and showing design concepts, mood boards, and space plans.
  • The selection of materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes that correspond to the vision of the customer.
  • Drawing detailed blueprints and crafting precise requirements for either developing new buildings or refurbishing existing structures.
  • work with architects, contractors and other professionals to ensure that the design will be implemented exactly.
  • Supervising the project timelines, budgets, and quality control as the project progresses is essential.
  • The available measures are to evaluate how everything is going, choose what needs to be amplified, and make any improvements despite earlier plans or suggestions.
  • Staying current with trends in the industry, therefore these include design style, materials usage as well as sustainability practices.
